Beatrix, is an energy filled black-brindle bundle of mischief and mayhem. Staying true to her namesake, Beatrix Potter, she spends lots of time studying nature. Always on the lookout for backyard “friends”. She is single minded in her desire to speak directly with any squirrel or chipmunk that has the misfortune to grab her attention. She loves Fast CAT and will follow the lure back and forth while waiting in line to run. Beatrix spends many hours gardening and feels that turning the soil is integral to any successful garden, no hole is not worth digging and if you end the day not smelling like earth you are doing it wrong.

Also similar to her namesake, Beatrix is a confident and independent lady. Some might call her Miss Bossy Pants, but that would be an insult to her focus and desire to take control of all situations. She takes control of any and all antics with her partners in mischief making – Maizie (Afterglow’s Pecan Praline), Mary Poppins (CH Afterglow’s The Ring Leader FCAT FITB), Rhubarb, and Bonnie.

While Beatrix is busy during the day, she can be found curled up on the couch next to her mom dreaming of her next adventure on any given evening. She loves as hard as she plays and is loyal to the end.
