Afterglow's Calliope

Calliope is one of our most beautiful Sealyhams we have ever had with gorgeous markings and a wonderful conformation.  It is no suprise as her mother is our Tippi and she is a half sister to our Bogart who was the #3 Sealyham in 2019 and an Award of Merit winner at Westminster 2020. Calliope's father, Stogie, is an AKC Grand Champion and is very handsome.

She is always quick with an appreciative "Sealy" kiss when she is picked up and loves nothing more than being held and loved.  She is very social with all of the Afterglow pack.  While not as much of a prey-driven hunter as some of our other terriers, she is always alert and provides the right amount of warning when a new sound or creature is present.

As a mother, she has proven to be excellent.  She cares very much for her puppies and wants to spend every minute with them. She makes sure that they are very well fed and lays perfectly still for them at mealtime.  She takes after her mother, who was incredible as a mother as well.

Calliope is PLL clear and passed her OFA CAER eye exam and with that earned a CHIC number.
